Telle mère, telle fille
Juliette Binoche, who has been nominated for several Golden Globes and won an Oscar for Best Actress, plays the lead role in this French comedy about a mother and daughter who is different in every way. Every way except one: they are both pregnant. This odd family goes against every prejudice. The mother is the party animal who can’t ceep a job, the daughter is the structured girl with a healthy income and sorted life. To top it all off, the mother is staying at the daughter’s house. Boyd van Hoeij at HollywoodReporter praises Binoche’s acting and writes that “it is a delight to see her cut loose and indulge in this flighty and unrestrained character who refuses to act her age”.
