After five seasons of the TV series Sunny Side, the story of Anna and Alex, Fredde and Mickan, as well as Ove and Anette, are now culminating. Divorce, infertility and life crises are mixed with unwritten rules regarding bathing in Torekov and personal confusion. Actors such as Josephine Bornebusch, Henrik Dorsin, Johan Rheborg, and Mia Skäringer are recognizable from the TV series, and now you can see Sven Wollter and Henrik Schyffert. Helena Lindblad writes in Dagens Nyheter: “Sunny Side offers spot-on social satire, strong recognition, and high-level comic timing. It may not be that neat. But it also contains a nice balance between humor and seriousness". The film has both been nominated and won Guldbaggar 2018.
