Hugh Grant in a chilling thriller, 80s classic action-adventure, and an animated film about good buddies are some of the ingredients in this week's newly released films on Viddla.

The day after the USA leaves Afghanistan, the Taliban takes control of the CIA base "Hollywoodgate." The documentary Hollywoodgate gets very close as the Taliban explores their newfound freedom.

The Million Dollar Hotel, featuring Milla Jovovich and Mel Gibson, is about a shelter for drug addicts in the middle of Los Angeles, where a young man falls from the roof and dies. The death is investigated by the tough FBI-agent Skinner. The script is written by Nicholas Klein and Bono, and the film is directed by Wim Wenders.

In the horror movie Heretic, the otherwise jovial Hugh Grant plays a nasty character with dark secrets. Heretic became a hit among audiences and critics when it was released, and it has an IMDb-score of 7.0 and 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Philadelphia Experiment is a sci-fi adventure from 1984 that revolves around time travel. An American destroyer participates in an 'invisibility experiment' when it suddenly disappears completely. Two of the sailors on board manage to escape but end up in the future. The film has good old-fashioned 80s charm and offers absurd scenes and dialogues.

He gets easily distracted from his work, author Leon. In Afire, he brings a friend to a summer house to work on his creative projects. But the beautiful Nadja who lives with them, and the forest fire that is approaching, disturbs his concentration.

The Inseparables is a French animated film about a puppet figure and a neglected stuffed animal, who team up for adventures through Central Park in New York City. The film is suitable for children over 6 years old.
