Labyrinth of Lies
In postwar Germany, the economy is booming and they would prefer to forget what happened during World War II. When a journalist by accident identifies a teacher at a school as a former guard from Auschwitz, no one seems to want to grasp the question, except the young prosecutor Johann Radmann. Radmann manages to obtain documents with incriminating evidence against several SS men, but it becomes almost impossible for him to get through what turns out to be a labyrinth of lies. Giulio Ricciarellis movie was elected Germany's contribution to the Oscar category of best non-English language film in 2016.
