In this award-winning comedy, we meet fifteen-year-old Connor who grows up in Dublin in the 1980s. Due to the recession, Connor must start a very tough municipal school instead of continuing at the private school he has previously attended. Connor falls in love with Raphina, and to be able to hang out with her, Connor tells her that he has a band where she can perform in their music videos. When she agrees to be in the video Connor understands that he must find band members and write songs that the band can sing. This will be the starting point for the band Cosmo. The film was nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Film - Musical or Comedy
