Even though Apollo Creed won over the amateur Rocky at their first match, it seems that most of the public still think Rocky should be the winner. Apollo asks for a new fight, but Rocky has chosen to put his boxing gloves on the shelf and have a family now and a job. But everything does not go as planned, and Rocky finally agrees on a new fight, a fight where both Apollo and Rocky are fighting for their survival.
