Alicja suffers from amnesia and struggles to create a life under her new conditions. After a couple of years, she appears on TV to tell her story and is recognized by a man who claims to be her father. Suddenly she has a husband and a child, she is someone's wife, mother and daughter. But she doesn't remember them, and she too has become a stranger to them.
