In Picture of lies art critic James Figueras is seduced by the provocative Berenice Hollis. The loving couple travels to the art collector Cassidy (Mick Jagger) who lives in a luxurious palace. Cassidy urges them to steal a painting from the studio of a legendary painter (Donald Sutherland). But after a while it becomes clear that there is a lot that does not match the artist and the assignment.
