Notre Dame on Fire

On the evening of Monday, April 15, 2019, one of Paris' historical landmarks and sights, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, burned. The film Notre-Dame on Fire depicts the events of that evening and the people behind the efforts to extinguish the fire under difficult circumstances caused by, among other things, misunderstandings, traffic jams and general panic. Courage and self-sacrifice along with luck were needed to save as much of the cathedral as possible and prevent the fire and flames from completely consuming valuable historical objects.
