When the Taliban in Afghanistan place a prize on filmmaker Hassan Fazili's head, he sees no other way than to flee the country with his wife and their two daughters. With him on the dangerous journey, he has a small video camera and a mobile phone to document their experiences. After being denied entry into the EU, a dangerous and difficult road for the family begins as they desperately try to find a safe place in the world where they can live together. The film was nominated for a Bronze Horse at the Stockholm Film Festival and won the award for best documentary at the Sundance Film Festival 2019.
