15 yrs 80 minutes 2019 7.0

When Terry Gilliam began his film project The man who killed Don Quixote in 1989, he could not have imagined that it would take thirty years of adversity and tribulation before the film finally premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2018. Filmmakers Keith Fulton and Lou Pepe already portrayed the struggle 2002 in their acclaimed documentary Lost in La Mancha, and now they are following up their own film with a new deep dive into this tragicomic case where performance anxiety and artistic vision meet a harsh and unforgiving reality but also highlighting how important it is to never stop dreaming.
