This is the true story of how incredible circumstances, a lucky hairdresser appointment and an unfortunate punch at a professional wrestler, led to the young car mechanic George Lazenby taking over as Agent 007, James Bond after Sean Connery. Without having acted a day in his life, he got the lead in the Bond movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service in 1969 but turned down an offer to continue. With his 29 years, he was the youngest ever to play James Bond and the only one to be nominated for the Golden Globe Prize for New Star of the Year.
