Finding Fela is a documentary about the Nigerian singer Fela Anikulapo Kuti. About his life, his music, and his influence of the political landscape of Nigeria. Fela was the pioneer who created a musical movement – Afrobeat – which he used to criticize the prevailing dictatorial regime in Nigeria. The movement inspired people throughout Africa and ultimately helped create change towards a democracy in Nigeria.
