20.000 Days on Earth

15 yrs 93 minutes 2014 7.4

Drama and reality are combined for 24 hours in the life of musician and writer Nick Cave when he allows us to join for a day (the 20.000nd) of his life. We meet, among others, a therapist, old friends and colleagues and are allowed to join a visit to an archive of private documents. The film explores the artistic process and how the creative power shape us. It is also a pure celebration of love and life. 20,000 Days on Earth, which is visual artists couple Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard's first feature film project, won the award for Best World Cinema Directing and Editing at the Sundance Film Festival in 2014.
