15 yrs 108 minutes 2016 7.2

In cult director Jim Jarmusch’s (Broken flowers, Only lovers left alive, Paterson) documentary we will see the rise and fall of the celebrated band The Stooges. The band was founded in 1967 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, after singer Iggy Pop had attended a concert with The Doors in Chicago. What followed was a wild trip through rock music, tons of drugs, performances without inhibitions, and internal conflicts within the band. The Stooges is considered one of the most important bands in punk rock’s history and development. Gimme Danger is a fast-paced and entertaining journey through music history, created by one of the band’s biggest fans.
