Mia and the White Lion

11-year-old Mia moves with her family to South Africa. There, her parents will run a farm and raise lions. Mia dislikes her new home and to cheer her up her parents give her a white lion cub to take care of. At first, Mia tries to resist the sweet cub's charm, but soon a deep friendship develops between the two. The years go by and the little lion cub is soon fully grown, but their friendship lasts. Then Mia gets the terrible news: her father has sold her friend to a trophy hunter. To save him, she leaves the farm and takes him out into the wilderness.
