British director Peter Strickland's horror comedy Flux Gourmet takes place at an art institute that engages in odd culinary and alimentary performance – such as extracting disturbing sounds from foods. The performance artists in the collective and their experimental activities, power struggles and vendettas are documented by the outsider journalist Stones who, however, soon becomes more and more involved in the strange experiments.
