How to Talk to Girls at Parties take place in London in the 70's. The shy teenager Enn meets a group of intense girls with a supernatural attraction at a party. At first, he thinks that they are part of a sect, but after a while he realizes that they are from another world. He falls in love with one of the girls, Zan (Elle Fanning), leading to a chain of events that ends with a confrontation between aliens and punks. The film was nominated for the Queer palm at the Cannes Film Festival.
