A young woman is brought home from the hospital with a broken arm and leg to recuperate after being hit by a car. She soon discovers that her loved ones aren't necessarily the best or selfless caregivers for her. The film takes place mostly in Frannie's claustrophobic NYC fourth-floor walk-up, presenting a perfect metaphor for how trapped she is after the accident, and a perfect window to the microcosm of a relationship. Without a weighty or convoluted story, the movie presents an examination of human nature and the nature of love.
