La belle époque
Victor, a bored cartoonist, and his bitter wife, Marianne, are drifting apart. Victor misses the time when their love blossomed, and Marianne wishes that her husband did not live his life in the past. But life takes an unexpected turn when entrepreneur Antoine offers Victor a new kind of entertainment. With the help of theater props and historical reenactments, his company gives people an opportunity to go back in time. Victor decides to relive the most memorable week of his life, 40 years earlier, when he met the love of his life. In Aftonbladet, Karolina Fjellborg writes: "Heartwarming emotions and nostalgia mixed with sardonic dialogue and existential sharpness, in a charming and thought-provoking film that works both internationally and is distinctly French."
