Sophia, a 40-year-old philosophy professor lives in a stable and predictable relationship with Xavier. For years they have been part of an intellectual elite who participate in gallery openings and endless dinner invites. Sylvain is a carpenter who renovates their country home. When Sophia and Sylvain meet her world is turned upside down. Opposites attract for sure, but will it last?
