By chance, the inexperienced young Palestinian man Salam manages to get a job as scriptwriter for a popular soap opera in Israel. His career takes off and everything is going well until different interest groups start to take action to promote their own political and ideological interests through the television series. Suddenly, Salam finds himself caught between his artistic integrity as a writer and an inflamed conflict between two opposing and strong parties. Drama comedy Tel Aviv on Fire was recognized at several film festivals around the world and won two awards at the Venice Film Festival 2018.
