The last execution
The young scientist Dr. Franz Walter feels very lucky when he is offered a desirable professorship. In fact, it's just a way for the STASI to get their claws into him. Walter initially plays along, but is step by step driven towards increasingly desperate actions in an attempt to escape. The German film The last execution (Nahschuss) is based on the true story of engineer Werner Teske, the last man executed in the former East Germany in 1981 before the death penalty was finally abolished in 1987.
The film is not playable outside of Sweden
