In The trip, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon travelled around northern England to eat and live on small pubs offering first class food, and then write about it for one of the country's most prestigious sunday newspapers. This time they embark on a similar culinary journey in Italy. The two moderately good friends go through Liguria, Tuscany, Rome, Amalfi and Capri.
