When the author Peter Neal travels to Rome as part of a marketing campaign for his new book, he gets no longer than the airport before strange things starts to happen. Once in Rome, it turns into pure horrors when the thriller writer realizes that there is a killer on the loose that seems to be very inspired by his books. Suddenly he himself is the protagonist of a violent story, and Peter Neal knows how it usually ends for his characters… The inspiration for the script is taken from Argento Darios own experiences with an obsessed fan who contacted him with criticism, and finally death threats.
