Sarah and John are proud of their son. He shows signs of being gifted at an early age, even though social interactions are problematic for him. But at the age of eight, Miles becomes more and more violent and his behavior frightens Sarah, who begins to wonder if a supernatural force may have taken hold of her son. She starts to search for the answer in the past and embark on a journey of discovery where the real and unreal merge into a terrible realization.
