Djúpið
The Icelandic film Djupet was Oscarnominated in 2013 for the Best Foreign Language Film. The fishing boat Breki sinks a few kilometers outside the Icelandic coast. It's a cold night in 1984 and almost the whole crew is drawn down in to the depths. After six hours of struggle off life and death, the exhausted Gulli finally reaches land. Ashore he has to answer the peoples questions; how could he manage to survive, and why. "The story is allowed to take time, Gulli's struggle for life is elaborate and realistic. The film, with beautiful photos, is striped from extent. It's also filmed in the ocean, and only that detail makes it worth seeing". writes Expressen Jorunn Amcoff.
The film is not playable outside of Sweden
