Amir Chamdin's film Cornelis about the popular artist Cornelis Vreeswijk and his life begins in Holland when he is taken from his family. Then, the director moves the action to Stockholm in the sixties, where we get to know Cornelis turbulent artistic life and his equally turbulent private life with alcohol and drugs in search of love and confirmation. Hans-Erik Dyvik Husby from the Norwegian rock band Turbonegro plays the role as Cornelis while David Dencik is playing Fred Åkerström. Björn Lövenlid in Upsala Nya Tidning writes: "If you only have the smallest relation to Cornelis and his songs, you will enjoy this movie."
