As a child, Flynn McGarry already showed a great interest in gastronomy when he refused to eat the food his parents gave him and instead started to cook himself. He learned by reading cookbooks, watching Youtube clips and looking at food blogs, and at 12 years old he opened the gourmet food club Eureka in his parents’ home in Los Angeles. Having gotten his High school diploma early, he moved to New York to open a restaurant with an exclusive tasting menu that he prepares himself. In 2015, Time magazine named him one of the thirty most influential teenagers in the world.
