French actor and director Julie Delpys' 2 days in New York is a sequel to 2 days in Paris. Marion lives in a trendy studio apartment with her new boyfriend Mingus, who is a popular radio host. Prior to her photo exhibition opening, Marion's French family, father, sister and sister's boyfriend (Marion's ex-boyfriend), come to visit. All they bring with them, besides love, is chaos, French sausages and an aversion to Americans.
