Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom takes place in the summer of 1965 during a scout camp on the island of New Penzance off the New England coast. The orphan boy Sam and the bored family girl Suzy have met a year earlier and entered into a secret pact: this summer they will meet again and settle in the wilderness. Different groups go out and look for the young couple, which quickly turns the city upside down... which might not be such a bad thing.
