In a group residence for people with autism lives Wendy. She is young, determined and earnest. She also has a strong interest in Star Trek. One day, she finds out that it's going to be a Star Trek writing contest in Los Angeles and of course she's going to compete. She finishes her 500 pages long script and sneaks out of the accommodation. Then she sets off on the long journey that will be a passionate, warm and fun adventure.
