Mike is a man of many talents and obvious charm. During the day he has odd jobs as construction worker, but at night he is - Magic Mike, the main attraction at the club Xquisite. Secretly he wants out in order to further a projected furniture-making business but his credit rating precludes a bank loan for this despite his considerable savings. But when the 19-year-old college defector Adam by chance shows up Mike has to show him how everything works. Matthew McConaughey plays the strip club owner Dallas, an ex-stripper who does not want to grow up.
