The Great Gilly Hopkins
Gilly is a 12-year-old girl who is well-known among the foster homes for her sharp tongue and because she always chews gum. She jumps between different families and outsmarts one after another, since after all, she wants to live with her real mother, Courtney, who may still be out there waiting for her. But when she is sent to live with the weird Trotter family, something seems to change. Despite her various plans to flee, Maime Trotter never seems to get tired of the little girl. The film is based on Katherine Paterson's bestselling novel with the same title.
