Paradise Place

Paradice Place is based on Ulla Isaksson's novel with the same title. Every summer, the doctor Katha collects four generations of relatives and friends in her summer place, which she calls Paradice place. The house is usually a hidden haven where reality does not reach, but when the worries, conflicts and discussions of everyday life penetrate through the sun, the peaceful oasis becomes a mere memory. "Paradice Place has its strength in the strong solidarity, serenity and warmth with which Gunnel Lindblom views the women's world of the film," wrote Jan Aghed in Sydsvenskan about the film, which received a warm international reception.
