I Kill Giants
Twelve-year-old Barbara Thorson is the school's outsider, has strange clothes, is bullied and lonely. At home there are no parents presents, it’s her big sister who take care of Barbara and her brothers. When reality is too difficult to handle, Barbara escapes to the fantasies in her head; she spends all her time making traps and fighting the giants she is convinced is about to take over her hometown. When the school psychologist Mrs. Mollé tries to approach her, Barbara is distant, but at last she can slowly deal with what really bothers her. The film is based on John Kelly's award-winning comic album with the same name.
