Shin Godzilla

When a car tunnel outside Tokyo's coastline bursts and begins to take in water, those responsible gather to find out what has happened. No natural causes are found, but when a huge creature suddenly emerges from the water and starts moving towards the city, it is clear that the city is facing a huge and unexpected threat that it is not ready for. Shin Gojira combines problems with infrastructure in a multimillion city with political games and classic disaster movies to form a more complex narrative than that of an angry mutant lizard who just wants to take out it’s aggression on a series of buildings.
