Cell 211
Juan Oliver got a job as a prison guard and decides to come a day earlier than agreed to show initiative, a decision he will come to deeply regret. During a tour of the prison, he has an accident that knocks him unconscious and when he wakes up, he discovers that the prisoners have taken over the prison. As he realizes that he is the only guard left in the building, he makes a quick decision and pretends to be one of the prisoners. Soon he finds himself in a game with high stakes as he navigates between getting along well with the other inmates without going over the line himself. The Spanish action-drama Cell 211 won best film by the Spanish critics in 2010 and eight Goya awards, including for best film, direction and acting.
