Cannes-nominated Mediterranean Fever is a warm portrayal of an unexpected friendship. Waleed dreams of becoming a writer while suffering from his depression. When his family begins to tire of him, he becomes acquainted with his petty criminal neighbour. Waleed begins to experience the bright but also dangerous sides of life together with his newfound friend.
