A Farewell to Arms
A farewell to arms is a classic drama based on Ernest Hemingway's book of the same name. It tells the story of ambulance driver Frederic Henry (Gary Cooper) who meets nurse Catherine Barkley (Helen Hayes) in Italy during World War I and they fall passionately in love. Unfortunately, the rules do not allow them to serve together and Catherine is tranferred. But they will not let this stop their love. The film won two Oscars in 1934, including one for the amazing cinematography.
