The famous writer Victor Adelman and his wife Sarah were married for almost five decades. Their passion permeated their existence, but it wasn’t just love on a field of roses, when living with someone for half a century, the entire register of emotions will reveal itself. As Sarah’s husband now lays beneath the ground, she starts to wonder how to move on with life. Then a young author knocks on the door and asks: Who was Mr. Adelman, really? Madame Adelmann has to dig through her memories of her husband – both the bitter and the sweet – and it leads to a study of sensualism, cynicism and senseless emotion.
