Give me liberty
In this fast-paced comedy, we meet Vic. He drives a taxi for the disabled in the most segregated city in the United States, Milwaukee. Every morning, customers wait for a ride. But it is not only the elderly and functionally diverse who count on Vic. Between runs, he must take care of his family and his grandfather. While Vic's boss yells at him and says he is misbehaving, everyone else yells for help. Vic never has the heart to say no. In Nöjesguiden, Nora Makander writes “Give me liberty is absolutely nothing for the sensitive. The film is an unpolished ride filled with a constant surge of stress and anxiety, but despite fast rides in a rickety van, also a humorous, warm and important story about a life that we increasingly rarely get an insight into."
