Farha
In a small village in Palestine in 1948, 14-year-old Farha dreams of studying to become a teacher. When Israeli soldiers storm in one day, life changes drastically and the population is forced to flee. In his despair, Farha's father locks her in the food cellar, promising to come and get her as soon as possible. Through a small hole in the dark basement space, her only source of light and air, Farha witnesses what is happening outside, while Dad lingers. Farha is Jordanian director Darin J. Sallam's feature film debut.
