The rain is pouring down, and the thunder is roaring outside the prestigious ballet school Tanz Dance in Freiburg, Germany. The American Suzy Banyon, who is going to enroll in the school, is on her way there for the first time but as she gets out of the taxi she meets a girl running away from the school in horror. The next day, Suzy returns to school and everything seems normal, but it doesn’t take long before she realizes that something is very wrong… The film is based on a book by Thomas de Quincey.
