24-year-old Jae returns to her childhood home in the small-town Ridgecrest. She has just been released from prison, convicted of killing her mother. In the childhood home, haunting memories awaits and in order to get away, she goes on a road trip to Death Valley with her brother. The desert landscape is beautiful and therapeutic but also difficult to navigate. Soon they realize they have no way of getting back ...
