Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa

15 yrs 90 minutes 2013 6.9

When a large media group is about to take over the small radio station in Norwich, where the falling DJ star Alan Partridge works, it doesn't really go as they intended. They dismiss Partridge's older colleague in order to reach a younger audience. He responds by taking the rest of the staff hostage which suits Alan Partridge perfectly. He now gets the opportunity to show off in national television and therefore tries to extend the drama. The character Alan Partridge was created in 1991 by British comedian Steve Coogan. Mattias Oscarsson writes about the film in Sydsvenskan: The humor revolves around puffed middle-aged men and, of course, commercial radio.
