The handyman Zorg, who has dreams of becoming a writer, works on the French coast. One day, the beautiful and wild Betty Blue enters his life. She tries intensively to help him to get his book published, but when it is rejected, her temper becomes more and more unrestrained, and Zorg sees his love slowly going insane. Will his love be enought?
